Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos termed Cristiano Ronaldo as a "legend" who deserves respect.

When asked if Ronaldo, who signed a new deal to 2021 with the club just over a year ago, should be rewarded with another new contract, Zidane said: "Obviously, but at the right moment".

The figure was paid to each member of the playing staff, as well as five members of the coaching department. Oh, and they also overcame Barca to win the league last season.

Few details are so far been released about the project, save for the following statement from New York-based law firm Brafman Associates.

Real Madrid need to beat Barcelona in Saturday's Clasico to keep their Primera Liga title hopes alive, insists Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo. He averaged a trophy every 17.64 games.

But the French league leaders spent big on younger superstars last summer.

Ronaldo scored the winner against the South Americans, netting after 53 minutes in the 1-0 victory.

"For us, it is fundamental Cristiano stays".

Substitute Vazquez told his after the Abu Dhabi success: 'Before the game, I told Cristiano I was sure he was going to score and that's why he ran to me for the celebration.

Ronaldo has smashed Real's club records since joining from Manchester United in 2009 and is way out in front as their all-time top scorer with 434 goals in 414 appearances.

And how does a club do that?

The decorated Portugal captain believes he is the best footballer in history, with Ramos saying he certainly belongs amongst the greats.

"The ball never forgives you", said Renato. Football is a collective game, and though some might prefer Messi's dribbling ability and magic, silverware is ultimately what matters in football. It is impossible to understand Messi's career without Ronaldo and visa versa.

Ronaldo, 32, earlier this month won a fifth Ballon d'Or to match the record of Argentine rival Lionel Messi.

It would appear that neither of those keepers will be arriving next summer.

Real scooped their fifth trophy of the year to head into the weekend's El Clasico in winning fashion.
