On the February 25th, the Mobile World Congress 2018 (WMC 2018) marks the moment of the most high-end gadgets, smartphones, tablets, and so on, of the year. For example, last year Huawei launched the Mate 10 Pro, a smartphone with its own Kirin 970 AI chip. With two huge players in the form of Apple and Samsung, any sort of significant gain will be hard won.

HMD Global is set to announce several new products at MWC 2018, and not surprisingly, a number of rumours regarding the company's range of Nokia-branded phones have surfaced.

What are the rumoured new features and specifications in the Nokia 9? This appears to be a compact setup along with a flash.

Nokia 7 Plus will be the first Android One smartphone from the Finnish company. It will include an internal storage of 128GB. The rumor mill had leaked a real image of the Nokia 7 Plus Android One phone.

The FCC listing confirms that this 5.5in display is an OLED panel made by LG. The phone comes with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. This camera technology is said to be brought by the Carl Zeiss company, which has confirmed its continuing partnership with HMD Global last year.

Of course, Samsung being Samsung, we can expect a few surprises at their event, which is happening around 12 noon ET on Feb. 25. At the MWC event, the Finland based company is set to launch its Nokia 9 too, alongside the Nokia 1 that will run the Android Oreo (Go Edition). But Vivo is rumored to be launching a device that would be a first in some categories. Samsung's flagship smartphone is no secret as nearly everything has been leaked on its specs and design.

The big changes with the S9 and S9+ are the cameras.

According to a report by Slashleaks, the upcoming Galaxy S9 will sport a 3000mAh battery while the Galaxy S9+ will sport a 3500mAh battery.

At the front, the cases give a look at the curved display on the Nokia 9. However, a source suggests that the Galaxy S9 fingerprint sensor won't be integrated into the display. In terms of operating power, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will have the latest-generation processors, namely either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 or the Exynos 9810, depending on the country. And this year, it's smartphones. They will be everywhere and consume all of the oxygen.

GSMArena has pointed out that this 5Mp selfie camera - listed as a Chicony CKACE16 module - is in fact a dual-camera.

What do you want to see at MWC 2018?

Xiaomi might just introduce an impressive smartphone during Mobile World Congress, called the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S.

Rumours about as many as three different high-end smartphones - the Nokia 10, Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 Pro - have been doing the rounds of the internet lately. It will be an Android device, meaning guaranteed updates for next two major Android updates.

But people really are at MWC for the phones. The new V30 recommends an optimal shooting mode and enable users to search for information and enjoy mobile shopping by recognizing an object with its camera. Even the smaller S9 is expected to have a variable aperture, giving it the ability to capture excellent photos in low-light but minimize distortion and maximize speed in outdoor, well-lit scenes.
