Well, not if your name is Ming-Chi Kuo.

Back in October, an iPhone X Plus concept render was already released by iDropNews, suggesting a 6.4-inch widescreen display with the same footprint as the original iPhone X. Meanwhile, it is also speculated that the iPhone X Plus could be one of the two iPhones to be released in 2018, sporting OLED screens.

The high-end phones will have edge-to-edge screens and Apple's facial recognition camera, Face ID, like the iPhone X. The low-end new iPhone will use facial recognition instead of a fingerprint sensor, and will sport a 6.1-inch LCD screen at a lower resolution than the high-end OLED phones, among other differences in hardware and design specs. Embrace the notch, eh? As it turns out, the iPhone X doesn't like cold very much.

Kuo, who has a solid track record as it relates to Apple rumors, also expects next year's iPhones to launch without any delays.

To take a screenshot with the iPhone X, press and hold the only button on the right side of your phone, then press and release the volume up button on the left side.

Apple's iPhone X comes with a front-facing double speaker which combines with the traditional speakers at the bottom of the device to produce stereo sound. The 6.5-inch and 5.8-inch versions will both sport OLED screens, but thanks to a better display and perhaps better technology crammed inside, they will cost the customer more money. Meanwhile, the 5.8-inch OLED model may mirror the current iPhone X with a 458 ppi pixel density.

Since it was released over a week ago, Apple's high-end iPhone X has been incredibly well-received by early adopters; however some of the first units in circulation have been exhibiting a number of quirky, software-related hiccups that Apple has either already acknowledged and provided a fix for, or has its team now working to resolve.

So there. Has this info made your smartphone buying decisions for this year easier, or are you going to hold out and see if these predictions come true?

MacRumors, which originally reported the news, didn't have the problem. It's clear that the iPhone X has shaped the design in which we'll see on iPhone devices over the coming years. In fact, at a starting price of Rs 89,000 too, iPhone X is the most expensive iPhone to launch so far.

What this means for future iPhone models with Touch ID remains unclear.
