"Please beat the Warriors for me", Kanter said in a heartfelt goodbye video posted to his Instagram account Saturday afternoon. Shoutout to Sam Presti, my teammates, my Stache Bro Steven Adams, team members, trainers, the whole state because when I lost my family and when I lost my home, you guys gave me family and you guys gave me home, so that's why Oklahoma, this organization, the whole state, will be always in my heart. People were pumped to see Melo, Westbrook, and PG on the same squad. "I will be watching that game, so please beat the Warriors for me". His connection and love to the city knew no bounds. You guys did everything for me. "Oklahoma City Thunder is the best and most professional organization in the NBA and got the craziest fans".

In any case, we are all excited to see what kind of shenanigans happen in Oklahoma City next year. I got no hard feelings. I'm not mad or anything, don't get me wrong. I love yo guys. "I'm gonna have an amazing season with the New York Knicks and I'll see you guys soon".

"That's all I can say right now. And those cats, I call them FAMILY".

New York has agreed to a deal to send Carmelo Anthony to OKC for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a draft pick, league sources tell ESPN. He averaged 14.2 points and 8.0 rebounds in 22.6 minutes during his two-and-a-half seasons with OKC. And, among other things, he issued the team his last request: to beat the Golden State Warriors.
