- This is Viktor Goncharenko's fourth Champions League campaign as manager, after three previous appearances with BATE Borisov.

"After that Barcelona game I started to know Celtic", said Ntcham.

- Basel are unbeaten against United at Old Trafford, having drawn their two trips to North-West England (1-1 in March 2003, 3-3 in September 2011).

He told Sky Sports: "I am fearful that this could lead to a stadium ban for Celtic and that would be a hammer blow with Bayern Munich coming up next".

"Yes, Alvaro Morata has made a good start for the Blues and, yes, they have [Eden] Hazard". In the first half we were very disappointing, but in the second half we were very positive.

- Paul Pogba has only scored two goals in 32 Champions League games.

OLIVIER NTCHAM had never heard of Celtic. Celtic Park is truly unique in the world. We'll get to know each other more and more.

He was able to return to the City bench in the second half, and yesterday trained - wearing protective head gear - ahead of tonight's Champions League match at Feyenoord.

"Of course a football player wants to win the Ballon d'Or", he said after the Champions League win in Glasgow.

That's just part of the mental game as well, how they deal with that. Looking forward to tomorrow night, Celts?

With a fit Ronaldo come the knockout stages, Real will remain the team to beat as the rest of Europe tries to end their hegemony. "We are friends, it will be good to play against him".

Last season, Real Madrid won its record 12th European Cup and became the first team to win successive titles in the Champions League era (since 1992-93). It's my favourite and it doesn't mean anything in particular.

Assuming that defensive display was a one-off, I think United are Britain's best hope of winning the competition with the balance they have in their side. But they just don't have a player or players who can produce a couple of games in a quarter-final or semi-final against a Barcelona or a Real Madrid when it really counts. We will be focusing with what is on the pitch.
