The leak includes photos of the phone and the contents of its box, leaving very little to the imagination when it comes to how the handset will look.

While we wait for Motorola to officially announce the Moto X4, images and details of the device continue to leak out.

As expected, there are no Moto Mods pins on the back, so it's likely the Moto X4 won't be compatible with Motorola's line of modular Moto Mods accessories. Interestingly, the previous picture matches exactly with the recent renders. The dual camera feature is of course in place. The LED flash will be located at the top instead of the bottom.

There is also a finger print sensor with gesture support that should have found below the display, though folks will also have the opinion for on screen buttons.

Other than that, the smartphone seems to feature glass on both sides. And it'll only look worse once the iPhone 8, Essential Phone, and Google Pixel 2 come out. So, while the X4 is said to have a 5.2-inch display, it's running at Full HD resolution; still, you get Gorilla Glass to protect it from scratches, and a fingerprint reader underneath. There will be four global variants of the phone, but all four versions will powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and the Adreno 508 GPU. For you reference, the global variant comes with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will have 64 GB of onboard storage and will support storage expansion via a microSD card slot.

Opposing previous rumors, this new report suggests that the rear dual camera setup will comprise of two 13MP sensors with an aperture size of f/1.7. Further, the next-generation Moto X device is pegged to feature IP68 rating, which makes it water and dust resistance.

There's no word on an official release date just yet, but Motorola has confirmed it will be holding a press conference on 31 August at IFA in Berlin, so we expect it to show up then.
