The Excessive Heat Watch is no longer in effect. Most areas will stay dry until Sunday afternoon and evening as scattered storms are possible. Being so close to the ground, your pooch's body can heat up quickly, and sensitive paw pads can burn. Limit the amount of strenuous activity you do outside and stay hydrated.

Chance of strong to severe storms with damaging winds, heavy rain and hail possible. Any thunderstorms that develop will have the potential to produce frequent lightning, torrential rain, and gusty winds. Highs: Mid-90s to near 100. However, it will be something to watch.
Isolated showers and storms. Thursday-Saturday looks like the core of it as I see things now. Either way it will still be hot and humid. Promising another muggy night with lows only falling into the middle 70s. The rain risk will be 40 percent. Highs those two days will be in the mid- to upper-70s.
